Unit 1 Introduction

Welcome:

Welcome to the first night of the Law and the Worker module, please see details of the ten week teaching plan below. We have a busy few weeks ahead.

This week I have included the first of the weekly quizzes below, if you have any problems, please let me know.

The core readings are included below also, these will be referred to throughout the course and specific ones will be assigned for focus on a weekly basis.

  • Payment of Wages Act (POWA) and Minimum Wage
  • Organisation of Working Time Act (OWTA)
